DAVE and JON GERSHEN have performed and recorded over the years with a list of people that reads like a who's who of the music world: VAN MORRISON,
members of THE BAND, AMOS GARRETT, BEN KEITH,
DAVE SANBORN, VASSAR CLEMENTS, just to name
a few.
Most know them from their work with widely acclaimed
70's Woodstock group BORDERLINE which they formed
with award winning producer JIM ROONEY.

Through the years, they often talked about doing an album featuring just their own music. Well,
the wait is finally over! This album continues the tradition of heartfelt songwriting and vocal performances they established long ago with BORDERLINE. Dave's songs draw on the great traditions of country and folk, while Jon's music leans more toward a blues tinged edgier sound. Although they approach their songwriting from different perspectives, each complements the other, bringing to this collection a sense of balance not often found in collaboration of this kind.
With backing by guitar master ARLEN ROTH, drummer ERIC PARKER, DAN McKINNEY on keyboards, and bassist ALBERT ROGERS, this is music that transports the listener to a time when the song meant everything and one was swept up by the emotion of each performance.
